Alexandros Koxaras was born in Karditsa in 1979 , a small city in Central Greece. He left at the age of 18 to study Economics in Rethymno, Crete. He joined his first rock band as a rhythm guitarist and had his primary experiences in live performance. He received his M.Sc. in Business Economics Finance and Management in 2004 and after completing his military service, he moved to Athens in pursuit of happiness. In 2007, along with four other friends, he formed his first band “The Backseat Drivers”, and played numerous gigs in Athens. After a couple of years, the Backseat Drivers changed their name to “Gonzo Baboon”, as well as their sound, when they decided to experiment further with their music and harden the sound of their compositions.

Somewhere around 2007 he participated in the “Pregame” movie project directed by Vasia Palioura, by composing its music. In 2011 he composed the O.S.T. for the 2011 Drama Festival contestant entitled “Ruling Class“, directed by Andy Papadimitriou. He continued his collaboration with Andy Papadimitriou by composing the soundtrack for two more short movies, “Reciprocation” (2012) and “Grey Route” (2012). The latter was an official contestant of the 2012 Drama Festival. The same time he also composed the music for an online commercial directed by Panos Stergiou.

In the beginning of 2015 he resigned from his job as a bank executive and launched Origins Of Audio.
